Alicia’s Healing Journey
Alicia came to the Well of Life Center in January of 2012 suffering from hair loss, fatigue, type 1 diabetes, heavy bleeding and blood clots, and occasional headaches. She began working as a Clinician’s Assistant in November 2013, and as an Associate Clinician in October of 2015.
“I heard about the Well for years before being able to come as a client. I changed my diet and it made a little difference. After coming as a client, I was able to understand why I was feeling and experiencing different things and it started making sense. I am on a journey to get off of insulin completely and I am excited about that outcome! The amounts that are needed have decreased in half after coming to the well…. but I still have some work to do with getting my organ systems to be able to communicate well together. I am so thankful that I’ve been given this opportunity to be able to truly help my body heal, and also to be a part of such an amazing workplace where we see God’s healing hand affecting so many lives on a daily basis!
Alicia’s Heart & Specialty:
“I really enjoy working with kids and families together, and with anyone seeking a change of lifestyle and how to get their body to be self healing and self regulating the way God designed it to be!”
Hear from one of Alicia’s clients:
Why did you and your family come to the Well?
I started in October of 2019 and I was in bad shape. My digestive system was completely messed up from several surgeries I had had.
How are you feeling now?
Amazing! No food issues and I just did my first detox. Alicia is now helping me with a slow thyroid so that I can start working out. Alicia has been nothing but amazing at helping me fix my issues! She is always helpful in explaining everything, and she even emails me when I’m having a problem. I am so blessed to have found The Well if Life Center and Alicia!

Alicia’s favorite food is an anti-pasta/charcuterie board! Here is how to make a healthy version for your family or for hosting company:
Anti Pasta/Charcuterie Board
Fruits & Vegetables
Use local and seasonal fruits and vegetables to brighten the board with their colors and satisfying flavors. For example, in the Fall/Winter, use pears, grapes, or apples and in the warmer months, use fresh berries, cherries, and peaches.
Cheese:
Raw milk/grass fed and goat cheeses are perfect, healthy, choices to utilize when building a delicious tray. Having a blend of textures and flavors- fresh, hard, ages, soft, mild, rich, creamy, etc. will help add variety to your board!
Meat:
Select any variety of pasture-raised, locally sourced meats with an assortment of flavor (salt, smoky, spicy) and texture. Beef bologna, prosciutto, turkey, chorizo, and salami.
Other:
Raw nuts and seeds, such as walnuts, almonds, or pecans.
Olives, such as kalamata, castelvetrano, or plain black and green.
Pickles
Mustard, hummus, or raw honey
Fresh herbs, such as rosemary, basil, or thyme.
