Getting Started on Facebook

Follow the easy steps below to find our Well of Life Facebook page, “Like” it, and “Follow” it to see our posts right in your own newsfeed!

Visit the Well of Life Facebook page

Our Well of Life Facebook page is linked above.  Click on the title for our page to be taken directly to that page.

OR

Search Facebook by typing “Well of Life Center” into the “Search Facebook” window on the left side of your blue navigation banner, found at the top of the Facebook page.  Hit Enter.

A drop-down box will list possible matches.  Select the Well of Life Facebook page, and it will take you to our page.

Note: If you have already liked our page, it automatically searches your Facebook profile for possible matches as you type in your search.  You only need to hit Enter or the magnifying glass if you are searching the Facebook universe for information that’s not yet part of your profile/account.

"Like" our Well of Life Facebook page

Across the top of our Facebook page is a unique cover photo.  Click on the “Like” button, located just below the cover photo, and it will turn from gray to blue and say, “Liked.”

On a computer, “Like” is located just below the right corner of the cover photo.

On a mobile device, “Like” is located just below the left corner of the cover photo.

"Follow" the Well of Life Facebook page

On a computer, place your cursor over the “Liked” button on our page, and a drop-down box will appear with two headings:

“POSTS IN NEWSFEED”

Select “See First” if you have a busy Facebook newsfeed and prefer to see the posts for this page at the top of your newsfeed.  Or select “Default” to see the posts for this page mixed in with all the other posts on your newsfeed.

“NOTIFICATIONS”

Choose which types of posts you prefer to appear in your Notifications menu.

Note: To see your notifications – click the globe icon on the right side of your blue navigation banner, found at the top of the Facebook page.  The drop-down box lists notification of posts to your Facebook.

OR

On a mobile device, click on the “Follow” button to the right of the “Liked” button.  It will turn from gray to blue, and say, “Following.”

A box will appear.  Select “See First” if you have a busy Facebook newsfeed and prefer to see the posts for this page at the top of your newsfeed.  Or select “Default” to see the posts for this page mixed in with all the other posts on your newsfeed.

Note: Notifications for a page are set from a computer.  See the instructions above for how to set your notifications.
